Pre-School: Where Little Minds Begin to Shine

At Pamoja Talent Academy, our Pre-School program offers a nurturing, joyful, and stimulating start to your child’s educational journey. Designed for children aged 1.5 to 5 years, we provide a high-quality early childhood experience grounded in Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) while enriched with global best practices in early learning.

Our integrated curriculum blends play-based exploration, structured routines, creative expression, and social-emotional development to foster curiosity, confidence, and foundational skills. In a safe, loving, and print-rich environment, children are encouraged to ask questions, take gentle risks, collaborate with peers, and discover the joy of learning, preparing them not just for Primary School, but for lifelong success.

Our Age-Appropriate Learning Classes

We organize our Pre-School into three carefully structured classes, each named after a precious gemstone to reflect the unique value of every child:

Play Group

For children aged 1.5 – 3 years

This is your child’s first step into structured learning. Through sensory play, music, storytelling, and guided social interaction, we support language development, motor skills, emotional regulation, and early numeracy/literacy concepts—all within a predictable, caring routine.

PP1

For children aged 3 – 4 years

Building on early foundations, learners engage in thematic projects, collaborative games, and hands-on discovery. They develop phonemic awareness, number sense, fine motor control, and social skills like sharing and problem-solving—key milestones for school readiness.

PP2

For children aged 4 – 5 years

Our final kindergarten year focuses on smooth transition to Primary School. Children strengthen literacy (letter recognition, writing, comprehension), mathematical thinking (counting, patterns, measurement), scientific inquiry, and self-management skills. They also participate in mini-presentations, group leadership roles, and creative performances to build confidence.
